Distt. Geeta Adarsh Vidyalaya is run under the management and parental care of the GEETA ASHRAM SOCIETY (Regd.) Solan. The Society was established to promote spiritual, moral and human values based on the philosophy and teachings of 'Srimad Bhagwat Gi

ta'. The foundation of 'Geeta Adarsh Vidyalaya' in 1987 was one of the Ashram's endeavors towards achieving the above goal. The School is designed to impart education leading to the unhampered and spontaneous development of all the essential faculties of the child. The Vidyalaya has adopted fine fold education system consisting of academic, physical, vocational, moral and spiritual education. Besides formal instruction, the institution endeavors to make learning a pleasant experience. Efforts are made to create in young minds awareness of beautiful and positive aspects of life. They are made to understand the values of good habits, personal hygiene, politeness of manner, speech and punctuality.

"अंतः करण विशुद्धिं भक्तिं च त्वयि सतीं प्रदेहि विभो। साम्ब सदाशिव शम्भो शंकर शरणं मे तव चरणयुगम्॥" यह शिव स्तुति का एक श्लोक है, जिसका अर्थ है "हे भगवान, आप मुझे अंतःकरण की शुद्धि और आप में दृढ़ भक्ति प्रदान करें। हे सदाशिव, हे शम्भू, हे शंकर, आपके दोनों चरण ही मेरी शरण हैं।"
