Hello folks!
The Quizzing Society of Ashoka University is proud to announce ChakraView 3.0, our inter-collegiate quizzing festival, on April 9 and 10, 2022. This year, the event will be held online, via Zoom and Google Forms.

ChakraView 3.0 will see students from the country's finest universities battling it out for prizes worth Rs. 30,000!

ChakraView is a fun-filled extravaganza with three amazing quizzes across two days, on April 9 and 10. Celebrity quiz master Dr. Arul Mani will host the General Quiz; Mayukh Nair and Varun Agarwal will helm the Biz-Tech Quiz; and Adheesh Ghosh will proctor the MELA Quiz set by Azmil Mohammad and Shubam Gupa

ChakraView is yet another step in Ashoka's ascent as a place where the intellect nurtures and flourishes. We need your help in making ChakraView a success. All you need to do is register for ChakraView at https://forms.gle/CrQVP7aFiGGd1b3GA , pay the registration fees by scanning the QR code on the poster (UPI: tellarihant@okaxis) via GPay/PayTM, and turn up on April 9 and 10.

The trans community in India and the world at large faces hurdles of a scale and frequency unimaginable to most. To that end, there is a great and urgent need to have more awareness and empathy about transfolk. In solidarity with their struggles and in support of greater sensitivity towards the trans community, the QuizSoc at Ashoka University in collaboration with the Karnataka Quiz Association brings to you the _Trans Solidarity Quiz_.

We have exciting prizes for the top 2 teams, as well as top school and top college teams!

This quiz is hosted by Nadika Nadja (she/her), an enriching quiz anchor with interests in history, archaeology, gender and the internet. We also have KQA coordinator, Rashmi Vallabhajosyula, a seasoned quizzer herself, at the helm to ensure that you have a great funda filled weekend !

This is a fundraiser quiz, and all proceeds from the quiz will be used by the Trans Solidarity Fund, maintained by the Feminist Collective and the Ashoka University Q***r Collective. The goal of this fund is to raise INR 2.5 Lakhs, in order to support gender reaffirming surgeries for members of the trans community.

Due to the recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus, a lot of activities (including classes) have been shifted to the online medium, and the Quiz Society is never one to fall behind. We'd like to present the QuizSoc's very own Discord server for hosting quizzes, vibing to music or just catching up with friends.

Discord is a free voice and text messaging program available on both mobile and PC, and we'd like to invite you to join us in our efforts to stay connected despite difficult times. We thank our member Adheesh Ghosh for taking the initiative of setting up and moderating the server. If you have any trouble joining please reach out to him!

Open to UG and PG students all over in teams of two (cross-college allowed), we hope you make your way to campus on the free shuttles plying from Jahangirpuri Metro Station every hour and stake a claim to the 15 thousand prize pool.

Greetings!

We know, we know...it seems as if the Ram Mandir will be built before the QuizSoc announces the beginning of AQL. Fret no more! It gives us great pleasure to announce that the inaugural quiz for the Ashoka Quizzing League Season 3 will be hosted by our very own ex-Quiz Soc members, Mayukh Nair and Anit Basu Thakur!

They bring to you a mixed-bag set of questions from all over. Love your pop culture? Engrossed in politics? Can't get enough of the movies? Always up with the news? Don't give a s**t about any of these? If you enjoy any of the first four, and relate to the fifth question, even more, they WANT you to come with your team of 2-3 partners or roll solo and flex all over.

Join us at 10pm in LT-207 on the 11th of September as we kickstart AQL Season 3 in a grand fashion!

The Quiz Society is proud to present the first event of this academic year exclusively for the fresh batches of YIF, MA Economics, MLS and PhD students!

Testing you on your knowledge of everything under the sun (and maybe even around it)! Join us for a night of fun and fundas at the MPH on the 8th of August, from 10:00pm.

Don't say "You know nothing, Jon Snow".
Trust us, there is a quizzer inside all of us.

A pair of Tata Crucible International Champions emerging from the Sonipat regionals on campus, a successful ChakraView 2019, and 243 unique participants who scored 1800 points cumulatively spread across 25+ quizzes in two semesters in the Ashoka Quizzing League. This surely was a happening year for the Quizzing Society of Ashoka University!

A massive thank you to all those you helped us made this year one of the most exciting ones for Quizzing at Ashoka!
