“IBM Skills build job readiness program” and “Pharmacy Mela” held at IITM Group of Institutions”
IBM Skills build job readiness program and Pharmacy Mela held at IITM Group of Institutions-Murthal. The aim of the IBM’s event was to explore new technologies, build foundational workplace skills, and earn professional badges for the students, all for free. All the faculty members and students have participated in the said event with full enthusiasm.
Mr. Manoviraj singh (Project Lead -IBM SkillsBuild ) and Ms. Anubhuti Jaiswal ( Project Associate at CSRBox) and Rohit Rajput ( Senior Project Associate CSRBox) were the chief guests and they elaborated that this free training and tools will help the students to fetch/get a tech job that they love. They added that gained foundational skills will certainly help the students to prepare for an entry-level job in technology, while earning credentials and getting guidance from technology experts, all at no cost.
Dr.Rajesh Goel ( Director General) and Mr. Ravi Partap Singh ( Training and Placement Officer) said that the this IBM program will easily supplement the existing curriculum with core technical and workplace skills learning, straight from technical leaders to students. This IBM program will bring industry expertise directly to the classrooms.
Simultaneously, set of contests were held for the students during the Pharmacy Mela. Collage making competition, Project exhibition, Games were the key features during the said Pharamacy Mela celebrations. Dr.Monika Chaudhary (Principal Pharmacy) added that to encourage the student participants, prizes will be given to all. She also added that such events boost the mindset of the students by which they excel in their life.
Shri Surinder Khurana (Administrative Officer) , Dr.Rajiv Dahiya( Principal Engineering) , Dr. Monika Chaudhary( Principal Pharmacy) , Dr.Preeti Pahuja Satija ( Principal Degree) and Prof.Biswajit Kaushik (Dean Academics) mentioned that this IBM program will prepare every student for the world of work. It will enhance the existing curriculum and will bring critical technical and professional skills learning to every student you support.
Shrimati Sushma Bajaj (Chairperson) and Shri Munish Bajaj (Vice Chairman) were delighted and said that these programs and events will help students access to training, project-based learning, and professional credentials.
