Congratulations on Affiliation for Academic Session 2026–27
I am delighted to share that all private schools in Jammu & Kashmir have been granted affiliation by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for the academic session 2026–27, as well as for previous years.
This is a significant milestone for the entire education community. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all schools, parents, and students on this remarkable achievement.
The credit for this accomplishment goes to the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Sakeena Itoo. I would like to personally express my sincere gratitude to her on behalf of the Jammu & Kashmir Unaided Private School Association (JKUPSA) for this tremendous contribution to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
This step will undoubtedly strengthen the educational framework and provide stability and confidence to all stakeholders.

The Greenland School family is in deep shock and mourning as we bid a final farewell to our beloved Narinder Sir. His passing has left an unfillable void in our hearts, and we struggle to come to terms with the loss of a dedicated educator and sports teacher who touched countless lives.

With a career spanning over three decades, Narinder Sir played a pivotal role in shaping the school's sports program and inspiring generations of students. His passion, expertise, and commitment raised the school's sports standards, leaving an indelible mark on its legacy. His dedication and enthusiasm were contagious, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we gather to pay our last respects, the Greenland School community is united in grief. We remember Narinder Sir's kind heart, his unwavering support, and his ability to bring out the best in his students. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his memory will continue to motivate future generations.

The funeral is a solemn occasion, as we come together to bid farewell to a man who gave his life to education and sports. We take comfort in the memories of his achievements, his passion, and his love for the school and its students. May these memories bring us strength and comfort in this difficult time.

Expresses Solidarity With Bereaved Family, Prays For Peace To The Departed Soul

Srinagar: Renowned Social Activist, Environmentist, Chairman, Managing Director Green Land Group of Institution Hawal, Srinagar And KCC&I Education Committee Head Jan Suhail on Thursday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Mrs. nighat nayeem wife of late Muhammed nayeem Khan (retired chief engineer j&k) and mother in law of Abrar khan (trade leader and social activitesy) passed away after a brief spell of illness.

He also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved khan family and prayed for them to bear this huge loss. “At this time of grief, I stand in solidarity with the entire Khan family and their relatives and pray to almighty Allah to give eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved to bear this irreparable loss,” he added.

In the condolence message GLGI Chairman Jan suhail emphasized on the fact that every soul has to taste death and it is always an irreparable loss. He also put forth that Green Land Group of Institution entire managing body, teaching and non teaching staff stands with khan family in this difficult time and prayed to Allah to grant the highest place in Jannat to the departed soul
