AQEP Women Physicians Quranic Class Holds Get-Together in Srinagar, to Celebrate the Completion of Surah Al-Baqarah

Srinagar, Aug 20, 2025: The Women’s Physicians Quranic Class of the Adult Quranic Education Programme (AQEP), Green Lane Rajbagh, organised a get-together at Hotel Vintage, Srinagar. The event was organised to celebrate the completion of Surah Al-Baqarah at Saturday, Ladies Physicians Quranic class, Rajgh. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran with English translation, followed by an introduction of the event by Dr. Arooj Chishti MBBS.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Zahidah Shah, medical entrepreneur and founder of Mother Care Clinic, highlighted the role of AQEP in transforming the approach of working professionals towards Quranic learning. Former Director Finance, J&K Government, Mrs. Shagufta Qazi, shared her journey of moving from mere recitation to deep study of the Quran, calling it “a book of serious study” and thanking Ustadh Kaleem Ullah Khan, Founder and Patron AQEP, for his guidance.
Entrepreneur Mrs. Rehana Hanief presented a thematic summary of Surah Al-Baqarah, while Mrs. Shaista Khan, Assistant General Manager J&K Bank, and Ms. Muniza, a government employee, shared emotional reflections on how AQEP’s structured methodology helped them reconnect with the Quran and strengthen their bond with Allah.
In his special address, Ustadh Kaleem Ullah Khan founder and patron AQEP, lauded the organisers, noting that the Women’s Physicians Class had “created history by studying the Quran systematically.” He urged participants to extend the message of the Quran to others, emphasising that AQEP classes are “a means, not an end.” The programme concluded with a dua by Ustadh Khan Sahab. The event witnessed active participation from women professionals of diverse fields and reaffirmed AQEP’s mission of making Quranic study meaningful and accessible.
