Her doctoral research titled “Constructing an Egalitarian Assamese Society and Nation: A Reading of Early Assamese Cinema (1935–60)” stands as a significant scholarly contribution that thoughtfully examines the intersections of cinema, society, and nation-building in the Assamese context.

The Department places on record its deep appreciation for the guidance and mentorship provided by Prof. Abhijit Bora, whose academic support was instrumental in shaping the research. The Department also sincerely thanks Prof. Manash P.
