We aim to open a National Level Online Platform for Young aspiring Actors. Participants would be representing their respective states and regions; this shall enhance their personality and build leadership skills. While exposing the works of notable Indian and Western playwrights, participants shall have the opportunity to develop their vocabulary and rigorously work on expressive communication.
Through the medium of National Mono acting Competition, we wish to reach out to young and talented artists from every corner of India and give them the opportunity of professional theatre training. MIT-School of Drama shall largely contribute to nurture the future of Indian Theatre.
Highlights
The event shall be judged by recognized Theatre and Film Professionals.

Please Note:
Winners shall be directly selected for B.A Dramatics Course at MIT-School of Drama without any interview process and registration fee shall be exempted for the same.
Rules and Regulations
Participants must be in Junior College or must have recently completed their Junior College Academic Year.
Monologues shall be selected from prominent Indian or Western playwrights
Monologue must be presented in Marathi, Hindi or English
No use of slang or abusive language
Obscenity and offensive gestures are strictly prohibited
Strict actions shall be taken if any Political, Religious or racial sentiments have been affected in the performance.
Duration of the performance must be 2mins to 4mins
Performance must be video recorded in AVI or MP4 format
Video must not be edited, performance in the video must be a single take
Creative use of space, property, set, costume, make-up or lights shall be appreciated and considered in final evaluation
Videos must be sent on our official email-id through Google drive and must not be uploaded on any other social media platform before the results.
Selected videos shall be uploaded on all official social media platforms of MIT-School of Drama, Pune
