അടിയന്തരഘട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ പോലീസ് സേവനങ്ങള്‍ പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനായി സജ്ജമാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള ടെലിഫോണ്‍ നമ്പരുകള്‍ കാര്യക്ഷമമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണമെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന പോലീസ് മേധാവി ടി.പി.സെന്‍കുമാര്‍ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കി. ഈ നമ്പരുകള്‍ കാര്യക്ഷമമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്ന് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പോലീസ് മോണിറ്ററിംഗ് റൂം (എസ്.പി.എം.ആര്‍) പരിശോധിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. തകരാറുകള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെട്ടാല്‍ ആ വിവരം ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കണ്‍ട്രോളിങ് ഓഫീസര്‍മാരെ അറിയിക്കണം. തുടര്‍ന്നും അത് പരിഹരിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ സംസ്ഥാന പോലീസ് മേധാവിക്ക് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നല്‍കണം. ജില്ലാതലത്തിലുള്ള നമ്പരുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും പ്രവര്‍ത്തനക്ഷമമാണെന്ന് അതാത് ജില്ലാ പോലീസ് മേധാവിമാര്‍ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണമെന്നും നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
