Digital University Kerala celebrated the 79th Independence Day with flag hoisting, inspiring speeches, and vibrant cultural performances, reinforcing patriotism, unity, and civic responsibility among students and staff. The event highlighted the role of youth in nation-building while providing a platform for showcasing talents aligned with national pride. Organized in the spirit of Aazadi Ka Amritkal, the celebration successfully blended ceremonial and cultural activities to honor India’s freedom and values.

Boot To Rooting CTF Competition at DUK
The Kerala Security Audit & Assurance Centre (KSAAC) organized the second Boot_To_Rooting Capture The Flag (CTF) competition on 26th August 2025 for first-year MSc and MTech Cyber Security students of DUK, with 36 participants tackling 11 diverse challenges across cybersecurity domains. The event, successfully executed by the KSAAC team, highlighted students’ technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with winners selected based on cumulative scores.

Industry Visit – From Classroom to Career
As part of the Student Induction Programme 2025, newly admitted students of DUK visited leading organizations such as Tata Elxsi, Keltron, the Institute of Advanced Virology, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Ospyn Technologies, and Fab Lab Kerala on 30th July 2025. The visit offered students early exposure to professional environments, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications and inspiring future career pathways.
