Discussion on Thalassemia at IET, MLSU

A discussion on “Awareness Towards Thalassemia” was organized today at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, MLSU in collaboration with Mahavir International Lake City, Udaipur. Students of B.Tech First Year actively participated in the program.

College Director Prof. Hanuman Prasad shared that very few people are aware of this disease, and due to the lack of proper identification, affected individuals often unknowingly contribute to the spread of infections.

The chief speaker, Dr. Nainavati, not only explained the disease in detail to the students but also advised them on how to identify it and undergo proper testing through a short video clip.

Dr. Chandalia, Chairman of Mahavir International, explained how the organization has been continuously engaged in social service without any external support and encouraged students to actively associate themselves with such initiatives.
