JEE Mains / AIEEE: Admit Cards to be released today

The admit cards for Joint Entrance Test (Mains) / AIEEE 2014 will be releasing today.

The admit cards were expected to be released on March 10 initially, but got postponed to March 12 and thus will now be available on the official website (http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemainapp/AdmitMsg.htm ) today.

CBSE board admit cards too go online

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared that admit cards for std X and XII board exams will be available online only. From this year, the board won't be sending a hard copy of the admit cards, in an effort to take more and more of the process online.

Admit cards can be downloaded by schools from January 27 and have to be attested by the school principal. Reena Dargan, principal of Ira International School said, "It is a good move and in line with the board's endeavour to move to a paperless system. If there are any errors in the admit card, students will have to bring it to the principal's notice, who will rectify it and attest that the changes have been done. For changes to be made in marksheet, the regional office will have to be informed."

Schools can download the list of candidates (LOC) from CBSE website from January 22 for std X, while for std XII the details are already available for download

CBSE 10th, 12th admit cards will be available online in February

From this year CBSE admit cards for class 10th and 12th board examination will be available online. As this is the first year, so only schools have been authorized to download the Admit Cards so that any flaws in the Cards could be corrected at school-level itself.

All schools authorized by CBSE have to send the data of Class 10th and Class 12th students on this link till January 20. The CBSE, on the basis of school data, will issue the Admit Cards in February.The schools can take out the print of the Admit Cards by login the CHSE website once it starts issuing the same. But the schools have to mention the School Code and Recognition Code for taking out the print out of the Admit Cards.

The schools have been authorized to correct any wrong information on the Admit Cards issued by the CBSE, if there is any. But the schools have to notify the CBSE office about the corrections.
