​The event aimed to sensitize students and faculty about the rising menace of substance abuse and the critical importance of a drug-free society. Speaking at the podium, presenters highlighted the psychological and physical hazards of drug addiction, emphasizing the pivotal role educational institutions and youth play in eradication efforts.
​The programme concluded with participants taking a solemn pledge to keep their campus and communities drug-free. The college administration reiterated its commitment to regularly hosting such impactful social outreach drives to safeguard the future of the youth.

NSS volunteer from Bhartiya College of Education Ms.Jagriti katoch B.Ed semester 1st participated in the Budget Quest 2026 Virtual Interaction Program held on 12th and 13th April 2026 at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, Srinagar.
On the first day, all participants were warmly welcomed at the venue and were provided with a kit that included a folder, pen, T-shirt, and cap, which created excitement among the participants. A Mock Women Youth Parliament session was organized, focusing on Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Yojana. Students actively participated and shared their ideas .A special interaction session was held, which was joined by the MLA of Kishtwar, Shri Shagun Parihar , Her presence motivated volunteers and gave them insights into leadership and governance.

Second day was dedicated to learning and interaction with experts. Volunteers had a detailed discussion with professors from the University of Kashmir. They explained various aspects of the Union Budget. The interaction session was joined by the MLA of Nagrota, Ms.Devyani Rana. She shared valuable insights and encouraged volunteers to contribute towards a developed India.
Later, volunteers had an interaction with the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. During this session, discussions were held regarding Budget Quest 2026 and its various activities. The Minister explained the importance of such budget-related discussions and quizzes.
Overall, the Budget Quest 2026 Virtual Interaction Program was highly informative, engaging, and inspiring. It provided a valuable platform for students to understand the Union Budget, interact with policy makers, and develop awareness about important national issues.

The campus of Bhartiya College of Education was transformed into a sea of yellow and gold today as students and faculty gathered to celebrate Baisakhi, the traditional harvest festival of Punjab. The event served as a vibrant tribute to India's rich agricultural heritage and the spirit of renewal.

The festivities commenced with a traditional prayer, followed by a series of high-energy cultural performances. Students, dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, showcased the rhythmic beats of Bhangra ,dogri dance,karak and the graceful movements of Gidha, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm.
