Methodology
Such change in education was born of the need to get students earlier beginning in after high school equipping them with the necessary skills, both academics and social to excel in a rigorous college curriculum. Affiliation
JC Junior College is a service provider which has tie-ups with the top-notch schools in Baroda city which follows the GSEB curriculum. Philosophy
The overarching philosophy of the model is the belief that “intelligence is not an innate ability and achievement is the outcome of effort, which is driven by motivation, not ability”. Therefore, academics will be engulfed in rich and meaningful auxiliary programs to motivate students and foster a thirst for learning. As someone remarked
“Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation.”
Carefully designed Concept interim assessments make it possible for teachers to effectively focus instruction and appropriately place students in accelerated programs and/or support services. With frequent and systematic analysis of assessment results, there is a “laser-like focus” on the skills to be taught so that students’ time is used effectively.
