At GEMAR, we believe that meaningful change starts close to home. That’s why we are proud to support the “Novo Orto Biologico” project by Cooperativa Sociale in Rome - an initiative that combines social inclusion, organic farming, and environmental care.🌳
Located in Castel di Leva, just outside Rome, the project will strengthen the cooperative’s social gardens and agricultural activities through:
🍃2,830 certified organic vegetable plants
💧A dedicated irrigation system with full installation
🌱Cultivation materials including compost and agricultural covers
🏷️ A GEMAR-branded plaque as a symbol of our commitment to the local community.
Through the cultivation of certified organic crops, the project will help strengthen biodiversity and contribute to the ecological wellbeing of the peri-urban area of Rome.
