Summer courses are well underway here in Florence, which means it is time for our first Takeover Tuesday of the summer!

Meet Rachel Bose and Maren DeMargel, two University of Missouri Journalism-Strategic Communications students spending the summer studying abroad in Florence. Rachel, from Chicago, Illinois, loves to thrift and has enjoyed exploring local markets and shops in search of new additions to her wardrobe. Maren, from St. Louis, Missouri, is a self-proclaimed coffee lover who has had the best time discovering all of Florence’s local coffee spots.

We are excited to have them take over and share a glimpse into their summer here in Florence!

Are you prepping for your own study abroad program with us later this summer or this upcoming fall? Then tune in tomorrow for advice from Rachel and Maren on how to make the most of your time abroad.
