MigraMed è un'associazione giovane, che punta a migliorare l'immagine della Calabria in Europa e nel Mediterraneo, nonché l'internazionalizzazione delle aziende locali. L'obiettivo principale è trasmettere il messaggio che la Calabria non è la periferia dell'Europa, ma piuttosto il cuore del Mediterraneo. MigraMed è un'associazione che offre servizi linguistici agli stranieri che visitano la Calab
ria e/o agli immigrati in transito nell'area mediterranea. Servizi di traduzione e consulenza linguistica, correzione bozze e formattazione documenti, archiviazione file in maniera sistematica e ordinata. Principalmente rivolti ad associazioni umanitarie, cooperative sociali, organizzazioni non governative, agli enti e alle istituzioni che lavorano nel sociale; nonché ad aziende, imprese turistiche e agriturismi. Il nostro logo rappresenta due "M arabe" (pronuncia mim) capovolte, perché l'idea è quella di coinvolgere la sponda sud e la sponda nord del Mar Mediterraneo; perché sono tante le parole che iniziano con la "M" di MigraMed e che hanno un significato particolare per noi: "Migrazioni", "Migranti", "Mediazione linguistica e culturale", "Mediatori interculturali".

MigraMed is a young association, which aims at spreading the image of Calabria within Europe and the Mediterranean countries, and the internationalization of local companies. The main idea is to convey the message that Calabria is not the border of Europe, but rather the heart of the Mediterranean. Migramed offers its assistance to foreigners and migrants: translation and language consulting services, proofreading and formatting of documents, storing files in a systematic and digital way. All services are based for humanitarian organizations, social cooperatives, non-governmental organizations, local municipalities; as well as business companies, hotels, agritourist or rural houses and farms. Our logo represents two "arabic M" upside down (pronounce mim), because the idea is to involve the south bank and the north bank of the Mediterranean Sea; and also because there are lots of words beginning with the "M" of MigraMed whicha have a special meaning to us: "Migrations", linguistical and cultural Mediation", "Intercultural Mediator".
