Il confronto tra prospettive diverse è parte integrante dell’esperienza di apprendimento.

Durante il Discussion Day, i partecipanti dei nostri Executive Master della Management Academy hanno avuto l’occasione di condividere e presentare i propri project work, mettendo in pratica le competenze sviluppate durante il percorso e confrontandosi con la nostra Faculty.

Dopo il welcome speech di Deborah Agostino, Delegate per la Formazione Manageriale di POLIMI GSoM, i partecipanti hanno presentato i loro progetti, affrontando temi centrali per il management di oggi e di domani: dall’intelligenza artificiale e la trasformazione digitale alla customer experience, dall’innovazione ai nuovi modelli di business, fino alla gestione delle operations, alla sostenibilità e alle infrastrutture.

Un’occasione per valorizzare il lavoro dei nostri studenti e delle nostre studentesse, mettere in dialogo idee e approcci diversi e continuare a imparare gli uni dagli altri.

Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno preso parte a questa giornata, contribuendo con competenze, esperienze e prospettive diverse.

The Discussion Day brought together participants from the Management Academy's Executive Master's programmes, who presented their project work, applied the skills developed throughout the programme and engaged in discussions with faculty members. The projects explored key management topics, including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, customer experience, innovation, new business models, operations management, sustainability and infrastructure.

Thank you to all participants and faculty members for enriching the discussion with their expertise, experience and diverse perspectives.

Alumni Reunion: reconnecting across generations 🤝

Five, ten, fifteen or twenty years after graduation, some connections are worth coming back to. Our alumni reunion brought together graduates from different programmes and generations to celebrate their journeys, reconnect with the people who shared them and meet new faces across our community.

The evening opened with remarks from our Alumni Delegate Irene Roda and Associate Dean Alumni & Rankings Angelo Cavallo, who celebrated the different graduating classes and the experiences that continue to connect us, even years after graduation.

We also explored the story behind one of today’s most influential technology companies, with a new edition of Companies Talks and its Innovation Stories performance, dedicated to NVIDIA's journey from pioneering graphics technology to becoming a global leader in AI innovation.

Thank you to Giorgia Di Massimo, Natascia Colantoni and Andrea Dotti, founder of Companies Talks, together with everyone who took part, for making this evening a chance to exchange perspectives, rediscover familiar connections and build new ones.

Because our community keeps evolving long after graduation: through the people we meet, the experiences we share and the ideas we continue to explore together.

Si è concluso al nostro Campus Roma il primo appuntamento della nuova serie Public Management Talks, promossa da POLIMI School of Management, in collaborazione con ELIS e la nostra business school.

Al centro dell’incontro, il ruolo del Purpose, delle competenze e della leadership nella creazione di valore pubblico: una sfida che riguarda la capacità della Pubblica Amministrazione di rispondere ai bisogni della collettività, migliorare la qualità della vita delle persone e rafforzare la fiducia nelle istituzioni.

La tavola rotonda, moderata da Rosario Sgroi, Docente e Senior Advisor di POLIMI GSoM, ha visto la partecipazione di Sauro Angeletti, Direttore al Ministero della Funzione Pubblica, Enzo Camporini, Generale Italiano dell'Aeronautica Militare e ex Capo di Stato Maggiore della Difesa, e Patrizia Ravaioli, Direttore Generale di Formez, che hanno animato il dibattito portando punti di vista differenti, maturati in diversi ambiti del settore pubblico.

Ad aprire i lavori sono stati Tommaso Agasisti, Associate Dean Istituzioni e Pubbliche Amministrazioni di POLIMI GSoM, e Pietro Cum, Amministratore Delegato di ELIS.

In Italia, oltre il 13% dei giovani tra i 15 e i 29 anni non studia, non lavora e non partecipa a percorsi di formazione. Con l'obiettivo di offrire nuove opportunità di crescita e inserimento professionale, ha preso il via AI Marketing Lab, il progetto promosso da Brightstar in collaborazione con POLIMI GSoM, Nextwork360 e Gruppo Digital360. 🚀

Un percorso gratuito dedicato a 80 giovani che vogliono acquisire competenze sempre più richieste dal mercato, imparando ad applicare l'Intelligenza Artificiale alla comunicazione e al marketing digitale.

Il programma prevede:
🔹9 moduli online
🔹Formazione su creazione di contenuti, gestione dei social media, CRM e marketing automation
🔹Un bootcamp intensivo a Milano per i partecipanti più meritevoli
🔹10 tirocini retribuiti di tre mesi in azienda

Un'iniziativa che punta a creare un ponte concreto tra formazione e lavoro, offrendo ai giovani nuovi strumenti per costruire il proprio futuro professionale.

More than 13% of young people in Italy are currently not engaged in education, employment or training. With the aim of providing new opportunities for personal and professional growth, AI Marketing Lab has been launched by Brightstar in collaboration with POLIMI GSoM, Nextwork360 and Digital360 Group. The initiative will offer 80 young participants free training in AI-powered communication and digital marketing, combining online learning, an intensive bootcamp and paid internship opportunities to help bridge the gap between education and employment.

Behind every conflict are voices, experiences and lives that too often remain unheard.

In this context, on 3 November from 5:45 PM, our Milano Navigli Campus will host “But I Am Alive. Voices from the War”, the fourth appointment in the Creative Minds @ POLIMI GSoM series, promoted by POLIMI School of Management in partnership with the Association Amici di Emmaus and our business school.

The exhibition brings together testimonies and stories from people living with the consequences of the war in Ukraine on a daily basis, offering a direct and deeply human perspective on one of the defining challenges of our time.

The event will offer an evening of dialogue and reflection featuring academics, researchers and representatives of the non-profit sector, exploring the human, social and cultural implications of the ongoing conflict.

Come tradurre gli obiettivi di sostenibilità in iniziative e percorsi formativi capaci di rispondere alle esigenze delle persone e delle organizzazioni? Questo è stato il filo conduttore del quarto incontro dell’Impact Committee, ospitato al Campus Milano Bovisa.

La mattinata si è aperta con un aggiornamento sui progetti strategici della Scuola, a partire da Spark Your Future, che nelle scorse settimane si è ampliato con un nuovo spin-off dedicato alla Community Alumni, e dall’Employee Resource Group Diversity & Inclusion.

Il confronto è poi proseguito con un workshop dedicato allo sviluppo dell’offerta accademica in ambito sostenibilità. Lavorando sui bisogni e sulle aspettative dei diversi target, i partecipanti hanno esplorato possibili direzioni per il Master Junior e il Master Executive in Sustainability Management.

Due momenti complementari, che hanno permesso di fare il punto sulle iniziative in corso e di avviare una riflessione sulle opportunità di sviluppo del nostro catalogo formativo. Perché integrare la sostenibilità nel percorso della Scuola significa anche interrogarsi su come evolvono le esigenze delle persone e su quali competenze sarà importante contribuire a sviluppare.

The fourth meeting of the Impact Committee brought together participants at the Milano Bovisa Campus to explore how sustainability goals can be translated into meaningful initiatives and educational programmes.

The discussion combined updates on key School projects, including Spark Your Future and the Employee Resource Group Diversity & Inclusion, with a workshop focused on the future development of the Junior Master and Executive Master in Sustainability Management, fostering reflection on emerging needs, skills and opportunities for the evolution of the School’s educational offering.

I A new international milestone for our Master in International Business and Digital Transformation!

In the QS International Trade Rankings 2027, the programme ranks 15th worldwide, 11th in Europe and 1st in Italy, moving up four places globally. It also ranks 8th worldwide for Innovative Teaching, 15th for Industry Engagement and 18th for Trade Programme Content, with its overall score rising to 79.8.

This recognition highlights the Master’s programme’s commitment to teaching quality, innovation and engagement with the business world, at Italian, European and global levels!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare al nostro Campus Milano Navigli un nuovo appuntamento della Book Spotlight Series, organizzato da POLIMI School of Management in partnership con la nostra business school, e dedicato al tema delle disuguaglianze socioeconomiche e al loro ruolo nelle strategie di Diversity & Inclusion.

Al centro dell’incontro, il volume “Per un diversity management di classe: Integrare le origini sociali”, scritto da Marco Guerci, Direttore del Programma Executive in Gestione delle Risorse Umane di POLIMI GSoM, Gabriele Ballarino, Professore Ordinario di Sociologia Economica presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano, e Alberto Lulli, Dottore di Ricerca presso IESEG.

L’incontro ha rappresentato un’importante occasione di confronto tra mondo accademico e manageriale, approfondendo il tema al centro dell’evento attraverso prospettive complementari e stimolando una riflessione sul ruolo delle imprese nella costruzione di contesti professionali più equi e inclusivi.
