The Venetian tradition dates back centuries, gondoliers and rowers in Renaissance-style costumes race in decorated boats, kicking off with a historical parade before the competitive heat begin. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday in Venice! ✨

La tradizione veneziana risale a secoli fa, gondolieri e vogatori in costumi rinascimentali corrono in barche decorate, dando il via a una parata storica prima dell’inizio del calore competitivo. Non è un brutto modo per trascorrere una domenica a Venezia! ✨

❤️ Eating for a good cause: Since 1965, this event has been organized entirely by local volunteers. Every dollar spent on food, drinks, and raffle tickets goes directly toward supporting local families and community programs in Venice.
