私たちの研究室では、環境ストレスに対する熱帯樹木の応答や耐性機構に関する研究と熱帯荒廃地の環境造林に関する研究を同時に行っています。これらの研究により、樹木、森林の理解を深め、熱帯荒廃地に森林を再生する技術の開発を科学的に支えたいと考えています。
We have been conducting research on the responses and tolerance mechanisms of tropical trees to environmental stresses, as well as on environmental plantation for degraded tropical lands. Through these efforts, we aim to deepen our understanding of trees and forest ecosystems and to contribute scientifically to the development of effective reforestation techniques for degraded tropical lands.

ようやくタイの植栽試験地に戻ってきました。コロナ前の最後の調査から3年半以上経ってしまいました。タイの仲間のみなさんの奮闘のおかげで試験再開のための準備を進められました。Finally we are back to the experimental site. It has been over three and a half years since we worked at the site before Covid. Thanks for the hard work of our Thai colleagues, we are now ready to resume our field experiments.
