Sophia University is proud to announce the appointment of 13 new Emeritus Professors.

This title is conferred on retired faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to research, education, and the academic community, following a formal selection process. To date, more than 460 former professors have been recognized with this distinction.

In AY2026, 11 faculty members were awarded the title from Sophia University, and two from Sophia University Junior College Division. The conferral ceremony was held on May 13.
