This workshop invites both students and faculty to go beyond stereotypes and explore how to understand and express Japanese culture. In the morning session (in English), participants will join “My Japan to Share with the World” workshop, followed by a guest talk by Mr. Yoshikazu Tanaka (Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau). In the later session (in Japanese and English), faculty will discuss how to teach Japanese culture for exchange students and abroad through case studies and group work.

Regarding the OSIPP Library summer holidays, we would like to inform you as follows:

Monday August 11th: Closed (public holiday)
August 12th (Tue): 10:30-17:00 (open one hour later)
OBON HOLIDAYS
Wednesday, August 13th: Closed
Thursday, August 14th: Closed
August 15th (Friday): Closed

*The library will be open as usual from Monday, August 18th.

During the "Obon" summer holiday season in August, as part of our efforts to promote the health of faculty and staff as well as to conserve energy consumption, various schools, research institutes, and other institutions at The University of Osaka will be closed. For specific dates regarding these closures, please view the information below.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these closings. Your understanding is much appreciated.

Please note, however, that institutions such as The University of Osaka Hospital and The University of Osaka Dental Hospital will be open as usual throughout the Obon holidays.
