At LUJ, they will study Japanese culture over 4 weeks, learning the art of tea ceremony, studying anime & manga, and practicing karate!

✈️🇯🇵 Please join us in welcoming 11 students from Virginia Wesleyan University to Lakeland University Japan!
After a long journey, they officially arrived in Tokyo yesterday and are getting ready to begin their 6-week Urban Ecology course starting this Tuesday.

The course will also be open to Lakeland students, creating a unique opportunity to learn together while exploring the relationship between cities, sustainability, and the urban environment right here in Tokyo!

If you see our VWU students around campus, be sure to say hello and give them a warm welcome to Japan! 👋✨
