1. PASSENGER STEWARD (15 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide all-round services.
• Assist and serve passengers.
• Maintain order in purchasing tickets.
• Perform the security check, and properly deal with any violation.
• Supervise and inspect cleaning.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Customer Service, Cabin
Crew or other related field.
• Must be below 30years old.
• Must be Flexible and a good communicator.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
• Experience and excellence in customer service will be an advantage.
2. TRAIN CREW (6 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Implement the safety management system,
• Assist and serve passengers,
• In charge of the safety of passengers,
• Provide timely feedback.
• Implementing operational processes and quality standards.
• Focus on passenger flow, direction and key sections,
• Assist passengers with special needs.
• Ensure the carriages are kept clean and in order.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Management,
Customer Service, Cabin Crew or other related field,
• Must be below 30years old,
• Flexible and good communicator,
• Must have certificate of good conduct,
• Experienced and excellence in customer service will be an advantage.
3. CARGO WORKER (FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION) (6 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Fill in the waybill and the freight ticket as required
• Correctly calculate the freight charges.
• Clear and accurate filling of freight tickets, envelopes, truck loading lists, carrier books,
unloading booklet and related reports.
• Handle goods delivery.
• Fill in the registration book and organize work data
• Record cargo details
• Check the cargo before, during and after loading as required by the regulations.
• Strictly implement loading and unloading truck operation standards to prevent
overloading, partial loading, and overweight loading.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma in Transport Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Management or above,
• Must be below 35 years old,
• A quick thinker, good communicator and flexible,
• Work experience in the transportation industry is an advantage
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
4. COUPLER WORKER (4 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist yard master in shunting work.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are observed.
• Supervising and inspecting shunting equipment.

• Diploma or above in Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Must be below 35 years old,
• A quick thinker, good communicator and flexible,
• Work experience in the transportation industry is an advantage
• Must have certificate of good conduct.

5. STATION ATTENDANT (21 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Implement orders and dispatching instructions from the supervisor
• Issue train reception and departure orders
• Report potential hazards to the supervisor
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are observed.
• Take necessary control measures in case of railway equipment breakdown.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Transport Management, Business Management or related field.
• Must be below 35 years old,
• A quick thinker, good communicator and flexible,
• Work experience in the transportation industry is an advantage
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
6. GANTRY CRANE OPERATOR (10 POSITIONS)
(a)Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate hoisting cranes.
• Inspect cranes before and after use.
• Fill in crane operation record as required.
• Cooperate with the professional repair agencies in regular repair and maintenance of
hoising machinery.
• Report potential hazards and take necessary control measures in case of railway equipment
breakdown.
(b)Requirements for the Job
• Must possess a valid certificate or license to operate the crane
• Must be below 35 years old,
• At least three years work experience.
• Recommendation from previous employer.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
7. LIFTING WORKERS/RIGGERS(44 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Strictly implement loading and unloading procedures and operating standards.
• Check the protective equipment, vehicles, machinery, goods, tools, cable clips, and
protection signals for wear and tear before, during, and after work to ensure safety.
• Carry out loading and unloading to ensure the safety of people, goods and equipment.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Must possess a valid certificate or license to operate the crane
• Must be below 35 years old,
• At least three years work experience.
• Recommendation from previous employer.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
8. SIGNAL WORKER (7 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance on signal equipment in strict accordance with various
regulations to ensure normal operation of the equipment.
• Be familiar with the performance of the equipment and understand the operating status of
the equipment.
• Report potential hazards to the supervisor and take preventive measures.
• Carry out regular site inspections
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Electronics, ICT or related fields.
• Have a Technical certificate
• Below 35 years old.
• At least two years working experience.
• Familiar with outdoor equipment installation processes, basic knowledge of railway safety.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
9. COMMUNICATION WORKER(3 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Handling communications equipment.
• Maintenance of communication equipment.
• Identifying risks and reporting to the supervisor.
• Participating in emergency and Rescue work.
• Familiar with the equipment types and installation process
• Can carry out simple communication information equipment installation and debugging and computer Network hardware configuration
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in electronics, ICT or related fields.
• Have a Technical certificate
• Below 35 years old
• At least two years working experience
• Familiar with outdoor equipment installation processes, basic knowledge of railway safety.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
10. ELECTRIC WORKER (4 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Familiar with the electronic device installation process.
• Can carry out the installation and debugging of simple electronic equipment.
• Familiar with work place safety.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years experience in field of electrical engineering.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
11. TRAIN EXAMINER (11 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Inspection and maintenance of Rail equipment.
• Implementation of technical operation and quality standards
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Trade Test certificate.
• Below 35 years old.
• At least one year working experience in mechanical related positions.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
12. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE WORKER (5 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Carry out regular repairs and maintenance of bearings, wheels and axles.
• Riveting and welding.
• Flaw detection, painting, and bearing benching.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Certificate or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and related field.
• Below 35 years of age.
• At least one year working experience in mechanical related positions.
• Must have certificate of good conduct .
13. TRACK LOCOMOTIVE DRIVER (4 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Driving the locomotive.
• Carry out preventive inspections and maintenance of components before departure.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Automation or
related field.
• Flexible.
• Good communicator.
• Must have certificate of good conduct
14. FLAW DETECTION WORKER (2 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Detect, mark and report flaws as per rail damage criterion.
• Analyze damages and raise suggestions for damage repair in proper time.
• Supervise flaw detection data records, recheck suspected damage, inspect flaw detection instruments and assess operation quality on site.
(b) Requirements for the Job
• Certificate and above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Flexible.
• Good communicator.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
15. TRANSLATOR (5 POSITIONS)
(a) Duties & Responsibilities
• Translating oral and written English/Swahili to Chinese and Chinese to English/Swahili.

(b) Requirements for the Job
• Diploma or above in Chinese language.
• Flexible.
• Good communicator.
• Must have certificate of good conduct.
• Ability to read, write and speak Chinese.
• Computer literate.
