Koitaleel Samoei University College recently hosted a high-level delegation from the State Department for Higher Education for a comprehensive institutional assessment.

Led by Principal Prof. Wiston Akalla, the engagement brought together faculty and staff to review progress on key higher education reforms, including compliance, curriculum transformation, Competency-Based Education (CBE), governance, and infrastructure development.

The team also toured the ongoing Nandi Hills construction site, reaffirming KSUC’s commitment to growth, quality education, and institutional excellence.

KSUC STRENGTHENS CAMPUS SECURITY THROUGH STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT WITH CHESUMEI SECURITY TEAM

Koitaleel Samoei University College had the honour of hosting the Chesumei Sub-County Security Team during a courtesy call aimed at enhancing campus and community safety.

The meeting, chaired by Deputy Principal Prof. Jepkemboi Choge, focused on reinforcing security measures within and around the institution. KSUC JOINS STAKEHOLDERS IN SHAPING THE FUTURE OF MOSORIOT TOWN

Koitaleel Samoei University College (KSUC) today participated in a key stakeholder engagement meeting on the planning and development of Mosoriot Town ahead of its anticipated elevation to Municipality status. The forum was held at St. Francis Cheptarit Hall.

KSUC was represented by Eng. Symon Kirui, Infrastructure In-charge, Mr. Kipsaro Boit, Public Relations Officer, and Mrs. Grace Serem from the Dean of Students Office.

The discussions focused on sustainable urban growth, infrastructure expansion, stakeholder sensitization, and proper land use planning. For KSUC and neighboring institutions, the growth of Mosoriot Town is vital in improving roads, security, housing, business opportunities, and access to essential services that support learning and development.

KSUC remains committed to partnering with leaders, professionals, and the community in building a modern, vibrant, and well-planned Mosoriot Town for future generations.

KSUC ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB GAINS GREEN INSIGHTS AT BUKURA AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE

On March 10, 2026, 55 members of the Koitaleel Samoei University College Environmental Club, under the guidance of the Chief Patron Dr. Ismael Oduor, embarked on an inspiring educational tour to Bukura Agricultural College.

The students explored conservation agriculture practices, including minimum and zero tillage, while gaining hands-on skills in avocado seedling budding and grafting, apiculture, aquaculture, dairy farming, poultry keeping, piggery, and vegetable gardening.

A key highlight was learning about Azolla propagation a fast-growing, protein-rich aquatic plant transforming affordable animal feed for poultry, fish, and pigs.

The visit strengthened the club’s mission of promoting environmental awareness, practical sustainability, and climate action.

Club Chairperson Cleanheart Sambia thanked the hosts for their hospitality and knowledge sharing.

The team returned to Mosoriot inspired and ready to turn lessons learned into action for a greener future.
