Amka Dada in USIU Amka Dada is a female students assosiations based in USIU.

Its membership comprises of all students in USIU, from all cultural diversities.The meetings are held on Tuesday's and Thursday's at 12.40 Room B1 of the business block.

25 November (International End Violence Against Women Day) to 10th December (International Human Rights Day) the world observes the 16 days of activism against gender based violence--startling fact -at least 70% of women worldwide have experienced some form of gender based violence.this year's theme is “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Let’s Challenge Militarism and End Violence Against Women!” in 2013. DADAS BREAK THE CYCLE AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST GBV!!!

Hello guys hope y'all are well. Self Defense Training is coming up from 4th-8th November from 3.00-5.00 p.m in the T.V room. You cant miss this- insecurity is everywhere nowadays, we have to learn to defend ourselves.
Charges are only sh 150 for the whole week's training and refreshments are included.

hi guyz thank you for all the people who joined us to Rescue Dada, it was great joy and fun to play and talk to with the lovely girls. We will be having our End of Sem Bash on Friday 2nd August in the school auditorium backroom from 2.00p.m. Join us as we bring the semester to a close and tag a friend along. See you there :)

Hello ladies and gentlemen we will be having our community service this Friday on 26th July 2013. We will be going to Rescue Dada center in Ngara, from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m. Kindly donate foodstuffs, clothing or toiletries at the donation boxes placed at SAC, cafeteria or the school hostels .You can also join us on Friday, we will assemble behind the school cafeteria at 9.00 a.m. For more information contact us on [email protected].

A couple made a deal the night of
their
Marriage to
NOT open the door of their room to
anybody who
comes knocking in the morning for
any
reason!
In the morning the parents of the
husband came &
knocked on the door, the husband &
the wife were
looking at each other & as they
agreed
before, they
didn't open the door.
After a while the parents of the bride
came knocking
at the door to check on them, the
couple were
looking at each other, then the bride
dropped a tear
& started crying she said: "I cannot
keep them
knocking & not open the door, I miss
them already"
husband didn't sayanything & he let
her open the
door for her
parents.
Years & years passed & the couple
had
5 children, the
first ones were boys & the 5th wasa
little girl, when
she was born the father was
extremely
happy that Almighty blessed him with
her, &
he threw a Huge Party for her in
Grand
style, people
were so amazed with his joy & his
happiness that
they asked him,
why are you so happy with her more
than
you were before with her older
brothers?
He answered simply: "She is the one
who will open
the door for me"
Baby girls are the comfort of theeyes
of
their father!
They hold the key to their mothers
hearts!
Daughters are really unique.
Theycare
for their
parents even afterthey are married.
Its rightly said, "A son is a son till he
gets a Wife, a
daughter is a daughter the rest of
her
Life!
