What happens at an open day? You asked,

Open day is set aside for the aspiring students, parents, guardians and the general public to interact with the UoN Staff,get all the information they need about our programmes, processes , how to apply, how to do an inter-university tyransfer, inter-faculty transfer, how to verify your certificates?

Two days, This week Thursday & Friday, May 7-8, 2026 ; Alumni, parents, guardians, and, aspiring students get to meet, greet and, interact with the University Faculty.

This year's theme is, 'Beyond the class: Innovation, skill, Industry, Experience'

All UoN Faculties and campuses will be represented.

All your questions about the institution will be addressed these two days.

Please note that the Jomo Kenyatta Memorial Library (JKML) will be temporarily closed from 4th to 14th May, 2026 to facilitate preparations for the upcoming visit by the French President.

During this period, students and staff are encouraged to use alternative library spaces:

Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Library (MGGL)
Faculty of Science and Technology Library
Faculty of the Built Environment and Design Library

You can also continue accessing resources through the Digital Library and VPN services.
