MAY INTAKE 2026 SPECIAL: VOICES THAT SHAPE THE FUTURE
Arizona International College Thika Branch proudly hosted a successful and engaging students’ debate, setting the tone for what our May Intake students can expect from a learning environment that goes beyond the classroom.
MOTION:
TVET institutions should abolish the use of graduation gowns and adopt work attire during graduation ceremonies as per the PS Education directive.
The debate brought together passionate students who confidently expressed diverse perspectives. Every participant was given an equal opportunity to contribute, showcasing the power of dialogue and critical thinking.
Outcome:
A majority of students opposed the motion, urging the Ministry to reconsider the directive and preserve the traditional significance of graduation gowns.
