About the Role
Galois Insights is seeking a self-driven Business Development Associate to lead client acquisition for our analytics and digital transformation services. You’ll help SMEs, corporates, and universities turn data into decisions through dashboards, consulting, and mentorship. This is a lean, high‑impact role where performance directly drives growth.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and generate leads via LinkedIn, email, networking and in‑person outreach through events, meetings, and visits to client offices.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
3. Pitch dashboards, consulting, and mentorship programs to decision‑makers.
4. Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
5. Schedule and attend client meetings (virtual or in‑person).
6. Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations.
7. Secure client commitments.
8. Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and provide weekly reports.
9. Ensure timely follow‑ups and pipeline forecasting for management.
10. Collaborate with delivery teams to refine outreach and onboard clients smoothly.
11. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your line manager to support business growth.
Requirements
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client‑facing roles.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred)
3. Proven track record of closing deals and meeting sales targets.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Experience with LinkedIn outreach and digital prospecting.
6. Familiarity with CRM tools or structured sales tracking.
7. Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
8. Analytical, self‑driven, proactive, and target‑oriented mindset.
9. Strong organizational skills and adaptability to lean startup environments.
10. Strong planning, coordination and time‑management skills.
