Led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Njenga Munene, Zetech University recently hosted a delegation from the Austrian Embassy in Nairobi alongside CARENAPI CEO, Mr. Nicholas Fernandes, as part of ongoing efforts to internationalise the University's Nursing programme.

Through this strategic initiative, Bachelor of Science in Nursing students will gain German language proficiency and access pathways to potential healthcare career opportunities in Germany, Austria, and other Schengen countries.

The National Fact-Checking Boot Camp successfully brought together journalism and media students for intensive discussions and practical training on ethical journalism, digital literacy, fact-checking, and combating misinformation.

The event reinforced the importance of accuracy, verification, and accountability in today's media environment while equipping participants with valuable professional skills for the evolving media landscape.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners, Africa Check and Dimlis Africa, for their invaluable contribution to this initiative, as well as the Journalism Students Association of Kenya (JSAK), facilitators, and all participants who made the event impactful and successful.

🌍🎓 Advancing Global Conversations in Education

Zetech University is proud to host the Africa English Language Teachers Association (Africa ELTA Official Group) 10th International Conference in collaboration with the English Language Professionals Association of Kenya (ELPAK) at our Technology Park Mang’u Campus.

Bringing together English language professionals, scholars, and practitioners from across Africa and beyond, the conference reflects our growing commitment to internationalisation in higher education, fostering cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and global perspectives in teaching and learning.

Under the theme “ELT in Africa: Carving a Way Forward,” this engagement positions Zetech University as a hub for global academic dialogue and innovation in language education.

Zetech University continues to strengthen its global outlook in healthcare education through strategic partnerships that expand opportunities for students.

The initiative will equip Bachelor of Science in Nursing students with German language proficiency from A1 to B2 over three years, preparing them for potential career opportunities in Germany and Austria.

Mr. Fernandes also engaged with the first cohort of nursing students, many of whom expressed strong interest in the programme, which opens pathways to global healthcare practice across Schengen countries.

This marks a key step in positioning Zetech University nursing graduates for international careers.
