Our Story

We offer the following courses and their respective requirements: Certificate Courses in ECD At the end of the course, teachers will be able to handle ages 0-6 years competently in any type of kindergarten The requirement for a Government certificate Minimum D+ in KCSE or Division 3 in KCE and above Course Duration Part-Time - two years in-service Course work session during school holidays - 6 sessions, and teaching practice Term time Full Time - One Year One-year of 12 calendar months Government practical assessment in September Government written exams in December only College exams are done at the end of the course and certificates issued. Students can register for KNEC qualifying exam (March of each year) to qualify for government exam if they don't meet the entry requirements for certificate or diploma KNEC Diploma in ECD Suitable for ECD certificate holders and other professionals interested in Early Childhood Education. At the end of the course, graduands will be well versed in the development and learning needs of pre-school children and able to teach ages 0-8 years and make Kindergarten efficiency. The course comprises Advanced Studies in ECD, teaching practice and dissertation We follow an approved Ministry of Education Syllabus that is examined by KNEC D+ (D Plus) and above at KCSE and an ECD certificate P1 Certificate holders and Division 3/D+ at KCSE D Plain at KCSE and ECD certificate plus KNEC proficiency certificate KCSE Grade C-Plain and above
