This morning, our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nelson Makanda, accompanied by one of AIU's Ph.D. students, Bishop Paul Wanjohi of Abundant New Life Church, paid a courtesy call to Nyeri Governor, H.E. Dr. Mutahi Kahiga, EGH. The meeting focused on Africa International University’s strong commitment to advancing Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), capacity building, and structured training for clergy in Nyeri County.
Through RPL, the University seeks to create a pathway for pastors—especially those who have faithfully served without formal theological training—to gain certification and formal recognition of their ministry experience. This initiative not only affirms their calling but also strengthens the credibility and impact of their service.
Additionally, capacity building and continuous training for clergy remain essential in fostering sound biblical doctrine, ethical leadership, and the ability to navigate the increasingly complex social, cultural, and spiritual challenges of our time.
Africa International University remains committed to empowering church leaders, strengthening communities, and advancing transformative education that bridges faith, knowledge, and practice.
