Brian Mukira, one of our distinguished alumni, paid a courtesy visit to our Head of Training, Col. Ali.
Brian ,who now flies the Dash-8 with ALS, continues to make us proud with his growth and achievements in aviation.

On his visit to the school ‘An envelope’ changed hands. Not sure of the contents but it made Col Smile😜 for sure

The sky is not the limit ,keep soaring, Brian👍🏾

At the MET Station, our students experienced where aviation safety truly begins , in the atmosphere.

Where The radiosonde, fitted with precision instruments, measures temperature, humidity, wind direction, and atmospheric pressure as it ascends high above the earth. Attached to a helium-filled weather balloon, it rises up to 30–35 km into the sky, transmitting real-time atmospheric data back to the station.

This is important as that data is transformed into accurate weather forecasts guiding flight planning, anticipating wind shifts and turbulence, and ultimately keeping our skies safe.

Yesterday, our January 2026 Class ,comprising PPL, CPL, and FOO students visited the Kenya Meteorological Department for an insightful and educational experience.

The students were taken through how weather data is sourced, analyzed, and relayed to various stations and aviation fields across the country.

A special sitting at the Nairobi Forecast Center gave them a firsthand look at how real-time weather updates are generated and disseminated to key aviation institutions equipping aviators with critical information to mitigate the unpredictability of weather and enhance flight safety for all.

A powerful reminder that every safe flight begins long before takeoff. ✈️🌦️

✈️🔥 DAKANE THE MASTER!

While the engine was still warm and the runway still echoing…
Abdifatah Dakane stepped out of that cockpit a different pilot.

First Solo.
No instructor.
No safety net.
Just skill, discipline, and pure confidence.

From taxi to takeoff, downwind to final, this one was earned, not given.

The sky has officially recognized you, Captain 💪🏾🔥

This is not the destination.
It’s ignition.

Clear skies. Firm landings. More milestones loading…
