The Master in Public Policy and Management programme is designed to develop the general management skills of results-oriented professionals in the public sector and non-governmental organizations with reasonable career experience. The programme lays emphasis on the following key dimensions of applied business practice: critical and strategic thinking, an integrated view of the organization across
the various functions, organizational leadership and change management, personal and organizational ethics, and communication. Further emphasis is given to the human person as the subject of economic activity, in the various roles as the leader and the led. The curriculum provides a broad range of academic courses and practical tools designed to advance the students in managerial careers in Public Policy and Management, Public Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, General Management, Managing People in the public sector, and International aspects of public policy. The programme equips those who may wish to advance further academically by taking doctoral studies with the requisite academic rigor to do so. It also aims at imparting practical relevance to the individuals involved in public policy through a variety of methods inherent in the content and methods of the study programme.
