Earlier today, PIU community gathered for a final Requiem Mass honoring the late Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Isaac Wanderi Gicheru, ahead of his burial tomorrow 30th, 2026. The service, led by Father. Shirima and other University clergies, was attended by University leaders, Staff and Students who paid tribute to Mr. Gicheru’s significant contributions. The University extends its condolences to his family and honors his lasting legacy.

TRANSITION TO GLORY. It is with peace in our hearts and the comfort of God and His Word, that we announce the passing of our beloved Isaac Gicheru Wanderi. Until he transitioned to glory on Saturday, April 25, 2026, Isaac Gicheru Wanderi was the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Planning and Administration at Pioneer International University (PIU). As he transitions to eternal rest, we remember a life marked by dedication, kindness, and the impact he made on all of us. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. 🕊️ Rest in peace.
