University of Nairobi Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics To be a world class centre of excellence in sciences, technology and innovation. It is one of the centres of excellence in UoN.

CEBIB is a graduate school at the College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) of the University of Nairobi (UoN), Kenya. The Centre offers training for Masters and Doctoral studies; specifically in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Postdoctoral opportunities are also available at the graduate school which has Biotechnology and Bioinformatics research labs equipped with state-of-the-art faci

lities. The research group at CEBIB is composed of experienced teaching and technical staff who also serve as consultants for their various fields of specialization.

The top in the category, CASELAP, was ranked the best unit in the overall varsity ranking.
College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) was ranked No.1 in the Colleges category.
