Building Partnerships. Empowering Students.
Telling Our Stories.

On 24 August 2026, Dr. Leah Komen, Head of Alumni Relations at Daystar University, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Timothy Owase MBS, CEO of the Kenya Film Commission and Daystar alumnus, for a conversation on strengthening collaboration and creating greater opportunities for Daystar students and alumni.

Their conversation centered on strengthening linkages between storytelling and student mentorship through film. They also discussed the Alumni Gala Dinner, set for 25 September 2026, that seeks to raise student scholarships.

As a Daystar alumnus and industry leader, Mr. Owase’s engagement reflects the power of alumni in creating opportunities, strengthening industry linkages and shaping the future of the next generation.

Together, we continue to tell stories of excellence, transformation and servant leadership.
