KABARNET: Locals urged to stay vigilant overnight following reports of roaming gangs Ratabei, Serei, Litei, Benin, Police Line, Kasoiyo, Kapropita, Kaprogonya, and Kaptimbor areas.

In a recent incident, an elderly woman was attacked and strangled. Fortunately, she managed to escape, although she sustained injuries.This comes amid several other similar cases.

Residents are calling on Kabarnet police to increase patrols to apprehend the criminals and have also appealed to the county government to install security lights in the affected areas for improved safety.

Eurobridge College Graduates Chinese Language Students in Eldoret
Eurobridge College, based in Eldoret City, has successfully graduated students who completed a six-month training program in Chinese language and culture. The program aimed to equip learners with practical language skills and cultural understanding to enhance employability.

All graduating students successfully completed the course and were issued employment letters by a Chinese company based in Nairobi, marking a significant milestone for the institution and its graduates.

The Guest of Honor, CHRP Demian Matelong, a Human Resource expert based in Eldoret, commended Eurobridge College and the partnering Chinese companies for creating meaningful employment opportunities for Kenyan youth. He emphasized the importance of skills-based training aligned with market needs.
CHRP Matelong urged young people and parents to take advantage of such programs to secure a better future, noting the growing demand for professionals with international language and cultural competencies.

Chinese companies were also recognized for their reputation in delivering quality products and services, as well as their role in supporting skills development and job creation in Kenya.
