The Faculty of Civil Engineering at Institute of Technology of Cambodia successfully hosted the seminar “Repairing Reinforced Concrete Structures: Materials and Techniques” on 28 April 2026.

The event gathered around 60 participants, including students, engineers, and researchers, and featured a presentation by Prof. Luc Courard, with opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Virak Han. The seminar provided valuable insights into deterioration mechanisms, repair materials, and modern rehabilitation techniques for reinforced concrete structures. It also created a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange and discussion among participants.

យើងខ្ញុំទាំងអស់គ្នាជា ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ សាស្រ្តាចារ្យ បុគ្គលិកសិក្សា និងនិស្សិត នៃមហាវិទ្យាល័យសំណង់ទាំងអស់ សូមចូលរួមរំលែកមរណទុក្ខយ៉ាងក្រៀមក្រំ ជូនចំពោះក្រុមគ្រួសារ លោកសាស្រ្តាចារ្យ ជ្រា រ៉ាដា ដោយលោកបានទទួលមរណភាព នៅថ្ងៃចន្ទ ទី២៣ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្នុងជន្មាយុ ៦៦ឆ្នាំ ដោយរោគាពាធ។

ការបាត់បង់លោកសាស្រ្តាចារ្យ ជាការបាត់បង់ធនធានដ៏មានតម្លៃមិនអាចកាត់ថ្លៃបាន របស់មហាវិទ្យាល័យ វិទ្យាស្ថាន និងប្រទេសជាតិ។ ក្នុងរយៈពេលជាង ៤០ឆ្នាំ ដែលលោកបានបំពេញការងារនៅវិទ្យាស្ថានបច្ចេកវិទ្យាកម្ពុជា ជាសាស្រ្តាចារ្យ និងជាថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំមហាវិទ្យាល័យ លោកបានខិតខំអស់ពីកំលាំងកាយចិត្ត បណ្តុះបណ្តាល ធនធានវិស្វករសំណង់ជាច្រើនម៉ឺននាក់ ដែលបច្ចុប្បន្នបាននិងកំពុងចូលរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងសកម្មក្នុងវិស័យសំណង់នៅកម្ពុជា។ ទន្ទឹមនឹងនេះ សាស្រ្តាចារ្យនៃមហាវិទ្យាល័យសំណង់បច្ចុប្បន្នជាច្រើនរូប សុទ្ធសឹងជាអតីតនិស្សិតដែលបានទទួលការបណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងការជួយជ្រោមជ្រែងណែនាំពីលោក។ ក្រៅពីការងារផ្នែកអប់រំ លោកក៏បានចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងការងារជាច្រើនរបស់វិទ្យាស្ថាន ជាពិសេសទៅលើការងារមន្ទីរពិសោធន៍ និងការងារសាងសង់អគារ ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធនានារបស់វិទ្យាស្ថាន។ លោកមិនត្រឹមតែជាសាស្រ្តាចារ្យដែលមានស្នាដៃការងារជាច្រើនប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ នៅក្នុងវិស័យការងារសំណង់ លោកជាបុគ្គលដែលបានចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងការសិក្សាគម្រោងប្លង់សាងសង់ អគារ ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធជាច្រើនរាប់មិនអស់ នៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

Congratulations to the four students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering who have been successfully selected as candidates for the internship program at SATO Kogyo Co., Ltd., Japan, in accordance with the MoU between the Institute of Technology of Cambodia and SATO Kogyo Co., Ltd. The internship will be conducted at various sites in Japan for three months during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Official Visit of the Management Team from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania to the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. The delegation was composed of:

Dr. Eng. Cristian Mojolic, Professor from the Faculty of Civil Engineering
The delegation received a warm welcome from H.E. Prof. Dr. PO Kimtho, Director General of Institute of Technology of Cambodia, along with faculty members from the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen and expand collaboration between the two institutions through developing new initiatives, including academic staff exchanges, student mobility, internships, and joint research projects.
The two institutions signed cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding on mobility of student-academic staff, cooperation on research, and development of study programs.
