With the recent extreme weather conditions in Sri Lanka, many districts have been severely affected — but Badulla and the surrounding Central Highlands are among the hardest hit. Homes, roads, and essential infrastructure have been badly damaged, and many families are still struggling without basic necessities. Telecommunications and access routes in Badulla remain disrupted, making recovery even more difficult.

While preliminary efforts are underway to restore normalcy, thousands of people in Badulla are still waiting for urgent help.

As the ASAA community, it is our duty to step forward during this critical time.

We are launching a donation drive to provide essential dry rations to the affected families in Badulla. Your support—big or small—will directly help those who are suffering.
