Our beloved Professor Achi Mohamed Ishaq has been called back to Allah SWT on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, at the age of 85 in Makkah.

He was a prominent old boy of Zahira College, Colombo, a former Chancellor of the Eastern University of Sri Lanka, and a former lecturer at Dhahran King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

The Janaza will, InshaAllah, take place at the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah after Asr prayers on Thursday, December 26th, 2024.

May Allah accept all his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
