Being an unparalleled adept at teaching English, The BEELINE is known as a highly esteemed English course that has been leading the field primarily in the Southern Province in Sri Lanka for over 11 consecutive years. The Beeline was set in motion in 2005, and to date, we have been stepping towards 15 years of our glorious existence facilitating more or less 10 000 students to quench their thirst of English. We are registered under the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (PV 79307) and those who consummate the curriculum can procure a valuable certificate as well. Our Vision
We discern that our precious assets are our quality of service and the “Word of mouth” referrals. The role of a teacher must be quite different from the role of a businessman. In Sri Lanka, as you are aware, students learn English for about 13 years at school, still the majority of school levers are not in a position to work in English and are not confident enough to speak in English. Although English classes and courses are mushrooming, this big issue remains undisturbed to their great disappointment. Under the circumstances, our cardinal objective would be to provide the young generation with a sound English knowledge to get through their future events and follow their higher education in English medium where English is considered mandatory. In that sense, we ought to launch a unique and proven program so that the students’ dream may come true. A teacher’s bounden duty should be to mould the student’s knowledge, attitudes and competencies in an impeccable way. When a student comes to the Beeline shelter, apart from providing them with a sound English knowledge, we steer and facilitate them to enhance their discipline, morals and personality. We are responsible for each and every head. No one should complete the course with a disappointed face. To us, duty is before self. Our Mission
We apply a high quality, well planed and unique approach to escort the students to the scheduled goals. We work hard whilst marking the students work hard. We feel humble pride to have produced thousands of students who can mange to work in English throughout our history. Among them, there is a considerable number of English teachers as well found in the government sector, international schools and the tuition field. We essentially ensure an appropriate compound with parents by holding parents’ meetings. They are made aware of every aspect pertaining to The Beeline Mission and thereby we carry on an interrelationship and mutual understanding with them which leads to a bilateral process launched for the betterment of the students. In particular, it has been obvious that university students and those who have been selected to universities or any other institutes of higher education select The Beeline musing that this could be the best place they can gain what they inevitably need in the academic field in which they have to deal with English medium lectures, assignments, presentations and many more. A staff of tutorial assistants also works with the teacher. We have experienced that on the final day of the course, the students, the parents and the teacher all join hands to face the farewell contentedly. It has been a tradition that the students who come up to a flawless completion of the course organize a farewell concert to commemorate their luck and happiness and to show their talents to the parents and extol the teacher’s great job by flaunting assorted events in English such as announcing, speeches, presentations, songs, dramas, dances and the like. Finally, they organize a one-day picnic as well. Here you find no jokes, time wasting, rubbish or criticizing outsiders. In the class room, the teacher’s and the students’ mobile phones must be kept in switch-off mode so this cannot be a suitable place for just fun lovers. THE TEACHER IN BRIEF
The lecturer of The Beeline English Course is Dr. Priyantha Wickramage. He is an innovative dedicated, experienced and qualified teacher who has won a name as “A Rough Diamond “.
