National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) is a fully recognized national diploma in the government and the private sector that has been established in the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) premises at Katunayake. The Course is established in the IET premises in the Katunayake. The course is established under government rules and regulations and is managed by the NAITA (National Appre

ntice and Industrial Training Authority). NDES is a one of the best engineering diploma course amongst the limited National Diploma course available in Sri Lanka and fulfill the industry's requirements for top level and middle level engineering and management roles. The course mainly focuses on a dual training system where theoretical studies are complemented with the industrial training. Theoretical instruction program are conducted at the IET premises and practical training is conducted at industrial establishment in alternative phases. The most attractive feature of this course is the embedded large period of industrial training process. It provides an excellent opportunity to develop highly employable and marketable skills. Final product of special engineering apprenticeship is indeed special one; these exclusive "National Diploma" holders are unique lot. Comparing NDES with fulltime academic or fulltime practical educational schemes is nit fair for both parties, as there is no other educational scheme which can be compared with NDES in IET. The output of "IET Educational Factory" is a "Ready to use" product. Our exclusive sandwich program is perfect blend of academic and on job learning scheme. නයිටාවේ අමනයන්ගේ මුදල් පසුම්බි තර කර ගැනීමට දුප්පත් සිසුන් පාවා දීමේ පලමු නිරර්තක උත්සහය මෙසේ අප ඇස් පනා පිට තිබියදී තව තවත් අප ඉවසා සිටින්නේ ඇයි?

මෙතෙක් කලක් නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපනය හිනි පෙත්තේ තිබූ IET ආයතනයට ඉදිරියේදී ඇතුලත් වීමට නියමිත අපේම උන්ට ලක්ශ ගානක මුදලක් වැය කිරීමට සිදුවුනේ ඔවුන් අපට ඇති ආදරයක් නිසා නොව මුදල් කෑදර කමට නයිටාවේ පඹයන්ගේ පහත් ක්‍රියාවන් නිසා.
මෙතෙක් නිහඩව සිටි අපට මේ නැගිටීමට කාලයයි. එකා පිට එකා මියගියත් මෙවර අප එක්ව නැගිටිය යුතුයි. මෙවනි ආසාධාරණ කම් සිදු නොවීමට නම් අපේ හඩ අවදි කල යුතුයි.
නයිටාවේ කලු කඩ මුදලාලිලාට විකීණීමට IET ආයතනය ඔවුන්ගේ බූදලයක් නොවන බවත් තිස්පස් වසරක් මුලුල්ලේ එක්වූ රංදම්වැල යදම් බිඳදා හඩ නඟන බවත් නයිටා පඹයන්ට ඒත්තු ගැන්විය යුතුයි.

IET අනතුරේ ? ⛔⛔⛔

වසර 35 ක ප්‍රෞඪ ඉතිහාසයක් හිමි ඉංජිනේරු තාක්ෂණ ආයතනය අනාගත වැඩලෝකයේ දෙවන පෙළ ඉංජිනේරුවන් බිහි කිරීමෙහි ලා සාඩම්බරකාර මුල් පුරුකක් බව නොරහසකි.
නමුත් එසේ වූ අප ආයතනය මේ වන විට පාලනාධිකාරියේ අවිධිමත් හා තුච්ඡ ක්‍රියා නිසාම NAITA වේ අතකොලුවක් වී හමාරය.
පෞද්ගලික උවමනා එපාකම් සපුරාගැනීමට ගැසට් පත්‍ර සඳහා ඔවුනට රිසි සේ නීති රීති සම්පාදනය කරමින් වසරෙන් වසර ඔවුන් අපගෙන් උදුරා ගන්නේ නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපනයේ සිසු අයිතීන් නොවේද?
වර්තමානය වන විට රටේ දූෂ්‍ය පාලනය හමුවේ අසරණ වී සිටින IET සිසුන් හා අහිංසක දෙමාපියන් තවත් අන්ත අසරණ තත්වයට පත් කරමින් සිසුන්ගෙන් නොමනා අයකිරීම් සිදු කරනු ලබන්නේ ඔවුන්ගේ පසුම්බිය තර කර ගැනීමට නම්,
මෙහි දැනට ඉගෙනුම ලබන සිසුන්ගේ අනාගතය, ඔවුන්ගේ දෙමාපියන් දහසක් දුක් කරදර මැද එම සිසුන්ට ලබාදීමට උත්සහා කළ අනාගතය,
ඇස් මානයේම බොඳ වී යනු ඇත.

NAITA වේ අතකොලුවක් වී අනාගත ඉංජිනේරුවන් පාරට ඇද දමන මේ ව්‍යසනය මැඩලීමට එක්ව නැඟිටිමු.
NAITA වේ වහලුන්ට IET ආයතනය බන්දේසියක තබා වෙන්දේසි කිරීමට තවදුරටත් ඉඩ දිය යුතු නැත.
