Dr. K. M. Chandimal, Head of the Department of Anatomy, was inducted as the President of the Anatomical Society of Sri Lanka for 2026

The Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, is delighted to announce the induction of its Head, Dr. K. M. Chandimal, as President of the Anatomical Society of Sri Lanka (ASSL) for 2026.

The Department will also host the ASSL Office for 2026, with Dr. Amila Wickramarathna serving as Secretary, Dr. Waruni Priyadarshani as Treasurer, and Dr. Lakshika Ribeira as Assistant Secretary.

This marks a significant milestone for the Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, as the first recently established medical faculty to be entrusted with this prestigious responsibility.
