SLIIT International Students As a part of our expansion programme, SLIIT welcomes International Students as well.

SLIIT is a highly reputed degree awarding institute approved by the University Grants Commission in Sri Lanka and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK. SLIIT currently has around 6000 students studying for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the fields of information technology, Information Systems, Computer Systems & Networking, Information Management, Busi

ness Management, Electronic Engineering & Hospitality and Management. Our two main campuses are located in Colombo, Malabe and three centers in, Kandy, Mathara and Jaffna have state of the art facilities and quality of our education is proven by the fact that our students have won several prestigious national and international IT competitions such as Microsoft Imagine cup and many more. SLIIT’s emphasis on educational excellence through the decade has made it possible for us to have partnerships with many prominent foreign universities, providing invaluable, diverse educational pathways for our students. Our strong links with Sheffield Hallam University, UK and Curtin University, Australia has resulted in SLIIT offering offshore degree programs form these two universities for our students at a very affordable cost.

🌟 SLIIT & Royal Roads University: Enhancing Student Opportunities 🇨🇦
SLIIT was privileged to host a high-profile delegation from Royal Roads University (RRU) at the Malabe campus. The RRU delegation included Dr. Philip Steenkamp, President and Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Robert Mittelman, Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. We were also honored by the presence of the Delegation from the Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka, which included Her Excellency Isabelle Martin, High Commissioner for Canada in Sri Lanka and Maldives, and Ms. Madushika Ranasinghe, Representative from the High Commission for Canada in Sri Lanka and Maldives.
The visit featured a key meeting focusing mainly on collaborative opportunities between the two institutions with the SLIIT Senior Leadership team and culminated in a ceremonial MoU signing. This agreement establishes new transfer pathway, particularly for our School of Business students, which will further give them opportunities for high-quality international education.
The day concluded with a fellowship lunch hosted at William Angliss by CAHM at SLIIT celebrating the strengthening of academic ties and future opportunities for student and staff mobility, joint initiatives, and deeper international engagement.
We look forward to a vibrant and impactful partnership with Royal Roads University!

SLIIT was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from the University of Regina, Canada, led by Dr. Jeff Keshen (President & Vice-Chancellor), Mr. Haroon Chaudhry (Associate VP & Chief International Officer), and Mr. Michael Liu (Manager, International Relations), joined by Mr. Abdul Majeed from the Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka.
