Through the Master’s Programme in Antimicrobial Resistance (RAM) under DELGEME Plus / USTTB, students share their experiences, ambitions and passion for science in service of public health.
This unique pan-African programme equips young talents from across the continent to understand, detect and combat antimicrobial resistance through high-level training that combines theory, practice and mentorship.

Vincent, a DELGEME Plus fellow was previlage to delivered an oral abstract presentation and a virtual poster at the 4th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2025) held in Durban, South Africa, from October 22 to 25.

His work focused on:
“Malaria Transmission and Molecular Surveillance of Plasmodium falciparum Antimalarial Drug Resistance Across Geo-ecological Zones in Cameroon.”

Well done, Vincent, for this remarkable scientific contribution to the fight against malaria in Africa!

Participation of DELGEME Plus in the 20th FESPAO Conference Mali 2025

From September 23 to 29, Bamako is hosting over 350 pharmacy students, doctors, and professionals from Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Mali to promote scientific research and regional cooperation.
This 20th edition honors Prof. Abdoulaye Djimde, DELGEME Plus Director and focuses on:�“Antimicrobial resistance in West Africa: raising awareness, taking action and promoting efforts to preserve the effectiveness of antimicrobials.”

It is a great honor for DELGEME Plus to take part in this major scientific and cultural gathering to support young pharmacists, foster research and contribute to the fight against antimicrobial resistance.
