KIP Leading Women Programme Day 2

From Authentic Leadership to the power of storytelling — what a day of transformation during the KIP Leading Women on the GIBS campus, in Johannesburg, SA.

Dr NobuLali Dangazele delivered the most outstanding masterclass on Authentic Leadership, reminding us that true leadership is grounded in purpose, vulnerability and ethical integrity.

Then came Joni Peddie, bringing energy and practical insight into executive presence and the art of storytelling — owning our stories, using our voice and learning how to connect, and influence.

A powerful day at GIBS. And the journey continues!

Today we kicked off Module 2 of the KIP Leading Women Programme in South Africa, on the wonderful campus in Johannesburg.

A first day dedicated to connections, reflection and meaningful conversations — exploring the impact of AI within the broader digital transformation journey, followed by group coaching and inspiring exchanges with key leaders.

A powerful start to this second chapter of the programme, bringing together women leaders to question, connect, learn and shape the future of leadership.

And this is only Day 1!

KIP Leading Women Cocktail - Eureka - 10th July 2026

An evening of celebration, meaningful networking, inspiring conversations, and beautiful music as we marked the 10th Anniversary of the KIP Leading Women Programme.

A special thank you to the many women leaders and male allies whose commitment continues to shape more inclusive organisations. And to our sponsor Moments by PhoenixBev for their support.

The evening was beautifully enriched by a musical interlude from violinist Melissa Antoinette, followed by internationally acclaimed soprano Ms Véronique Zuel, accompanied by Ms Katerina Sevastaki, in a moving performance on the theme "A Woman's Trip."

Because lasting change happens when we lead together.

When Leadership meets Purpose.

We are deeply grateful to Business Magazine for featuring the 10th Anniversary of the KIP Leading Women Programme in Mauritius and helping amplify the conversation on inclusive leadership.

Our programme goes far beyond leadership training. Built on a decade of design on gender expertise locally, we bring in the room amazing speakers, strong international partnership with GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science), while challenging perspectives and shaping authentic leadership.

We believe leadership is not built in a classroom alone. It is forged through meaningful conversations, courageous reflection, powerful networks and a commitment to creating more inclusive organisations by design.

KIP Leading Women 2026 | From Women on Boards to Inclusive Organisations

As part of the 10th Anniversary of the KIP Leading Women Programme, we were honoured to welcome Ms Heba Capdevila-Jangeerkhan Group CEO of Medine, Mr Gervais Gua, Officer in Charge and Executive Director, SBM Bank (Mauritius) Ltd and Ms Shamima Mallam Hassam, Managing Director of Trident Trust Mauritius for an inspiring CEO Panel.

One message resonated throughout the discussion: inclusive organisations are built by design. Moving beyond the numbers means intentionally creating cultures where diverse talent is developed, every voice is valued, and leaders foster trust, belonging and opportunity. This is how organisations unlock innovation, strengthen performance and create lasting impact.
