Congrats to Yohan Louis, our former Uom Rugby Player.

Another addition to our team!
We are pleased to welcome 𝐘𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬 who has just arrived from 𝑴𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒖𝒔. Yohan will be working with our team at the University of Milano-Bicocca to study the cellular and genetic responses of corals to climate change related stresses. Such studies are essential in the fight against the worldwide decline of coral reefs and to improve the efficiency of conservation techniques.
All of us at the MaRHE Center want to wish Yohan the best of luck for this exciting project!

Terms and conditions:
- 4 a side with max 2 substitutes (6)
- Guys or Girls teams only (no mixed teams)
- Minimum age requirement: 15 yrs
- Starts as from 10:30am until 1pm
- Each member of the team has to register & pay individually on ROAG
- Price: Rs800 per person (includes festival ticket and race pack with goodies & T-shirt)
- Free water access (bring in your own cup or bottle)
- Compete for the 1st prize for each, guys & girls' team.

Alors quelques infos pratiques sur le « déroulé » des matchs de rugby lors des JIOI 2019. Il y a 4 équipes inscrites. A savoir : Île Maurice, Île de la Reunion, Madagascar et Mayotte. Le 24 juillet, les 4 équipes vont s’affronter dans la phase préliminaire. Le 25 juillet, selon le classement, la 1ère équipe jouera contre la 4ème équipe et la 2ème équipe jouera contre la 3ème équipe pour les demi-finales. Les perdants se disputeront les 3ème et 4ème place, alors que les vainqueurs se disputeront la finale. Pour les billets, les sites de ventes affiches « complet » pour les demi-finales ainsi que la finale. Espérons que les gradins du Northfields Rugby Field à Mapou seront bondés… De toute façon, nous allons vous tenir au courant de chaque mêlée, débordement ou essai. Match après match :)
