🌱✨ El jueves 30 de julio, la Universidad Incarnate Word Campus Bajío fue sede del Seminario ASG, organizado por Cluster Automotriz de Guanajuato AC - Claugto , un espacio que reunió a especialistas de la industria automotriz para dialogar sobre los retos y oportunidades de la sostenibilidad.

El evento contó con la presencia de Gonzalo Guerrero, Director General de Sustentabilidad; Humberto Hernández Salgado, Director General de Desarrollo Económico; y Hared Alejandro Martínez Cázares, Director de Promoción, Inversión y Empleo, autoridades del Gobierno Municipal de Irapuato.

Nuestro Rector, el Mtro. José Antonio López Verver, fue el encargado de inaugurar el seminario con un mensaje en el que destacó la innovación como motor para formar agentes de cambio y avanzar hacia la excelencia.

Durante la jornada se abordaron temas estratégicos como el futuro de las energías renovables en México y la generación de impacto, fortaleciendo el intercambio de conocimientos entre expertos y organizaciones comprometidas con una industria más responsable e innovadora.

Agradecemos a CLAUGTO por confiar en UIW Campus Bajío como sede de este importante encuentro y por impulsar espacios de colaboración que contribuyen al desarrollo sostenible.

🌱✨ On Thursday, July 30th, the Universidad Incarnate Word Campus Bajío hosted the ESG Seminar, organized by CLAUGTO, bringing together experts from the automotive industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding sustainability.

The event was honored by the presence of Gonzalo Guerrero, Director General of Sustainability; Humberto Hernández Salgado, Director General of Economic Development; and Hared Alejandro Martínez Cázares, Director of Promotion, Investment, and Employment, representing the Municipal Government of Irapuato.

Our Rector, José Antonio López Verver, officially opened the seminar with remarks highlighting innovation as a driving force for developing changemakers and advancing the University's pursuit of excellence.

Throughout the event, participants explored strategic topics such as the future of renewable energy in Mexico and impact-driven initiatives, fostering the exchange of knowledge among experts and organizations committed to building a more responsible and innovative industry.

We thank CLAUGTO for choosing UIW Campus Bajío as the host of this important event and for fostering collaborative spaces that contribute to a more sustainable future.

⚖️🌿 Estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Derecho 🇲🇽 / BA in Political Science 🇺🇸 participaron en el foro "Biodiversidad: Construcción del marco legal en el Estado de Guanajuato", convocado por la Comisión de Medio Ambiente de la LXVI Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Guanajuato.

Este espacio de diálogo les permitió conocer de cerca el proceso de construcción de iniciativas legislativas en materia ambiental y reflexionar sobre la importancia de desarrollar un marco jurídico que contribuya a la protección de la biodiversidad en nuestro estado 🙌.

Además, realizaron un recorrido por las instalaciones del Congreso del Estado, acercándose al funcionamiento de una de las instituciones clave para la vida legislativa de Guanajuato.

Experiencias como esta fortalecen su formación profesional y los preparan para participar activamente en la construcción de un mejor futuro 🌎✨.

⚖️🌿 Students from the Licenciatura en Derecho 🇲🇽 / BA in Political Science 🇺🇸 participated in the "Biodiversity: Building the Legal Framework for the State of Guanajuato" forum, organized by the Environmental Commission of the LXVI Legislature of the Congress of the State of Guanajuato.

The forum gave students the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the legislative process behind environmental policy and explore the importance of developing a legal framework that supports biodiversity conservation across the state 🙌.

They also toured the facilities of the Congress of the State of Guanajuato, giving them a closer look at one of the institutions at the heart of the state's legislative process.

Experiences like these enrich their legal education and prepare them to become professionals who contribute meaningfully to shaping a better future 🌎✨.
