【2026 Overseas High School Principals Campus Discovery Event (II)】

On the second day of the “2026 Overseas High School Principals Campus Discovery Event,” the Malaysian delegation visited the Aerospace Museum and the Museum of Harbin Institute of Technology.

At the Aerospace Museum, participants explored a wide range of scientific achievements and physical exhibits, gaining a deeper understanding of HIT’s outstanding accomplishments in the field of aerospace. The visit offered an immersive experience of cutting-edge science and technology.

At the Museum, the delegation traced the university’s development since its founding, gaining a profound appreciation of the generations of HIT scholars and educators who have upheld the university motto of "Strict Standard, Sufficient Effort" and their relentless pursuit of excellence.

[2026 International High School Principals Campus Discovery Event (I)]

The 2026 International High School Principals Campus Discovery Event officially kicked off today with its first scheduled activities at the century-old Harbin No. 6 High School, one of the city’s most prestigious historic institutions.

A delegation of education professionals from Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, and other countries was warmly received by Secretary-General Zhang Xiangzhou and Vice Principal Yu Bo of Harbin No. 6 High School. The delegation toured various facilities, including teaching buildings, science and technology laboratories, art classrooms, the arts and sports center, first-aid training facilities, and AI-powered smart sports equipment. The school’s well-rounded campus environment and strong educational infrastructure received high praise from all participants.

Harbin No. 6 High School is also a key promoter of Russian language education and has extensive experience in Sino-foreign cooperative education, serving as a valuable reference for international education development.

The exchange was highly productive, with Vice Principal Yu Bo’s experience in international cooperation and school administration providing valuable inspiration and practical reference for the Malaysian delegation.

“2026年度海外高中校长校园行”活动正式启幕，首站走进哈尔滨市百年名校——第六中学校（简称“哈六中”）。

由马来西亚、泰国、俄罗斯等国家教育工作者组成的访问团，受到哈六中副校长于波和总书记张祥州的接待，并先后参观了教学楼、科技实验室、美术室、艺体中心、急救训练场及AI智能体育设备等教学与实践场所。校园完善多元的设施配置与优质的教学环境，获得访问团一致高度评价与赞赏。

At the recently concluded 2026 China Science Fiction Convention, HIT showcased multiple technological breakthroughs, turning the imaginative visions of science fiction into tangible reality!

1.Robot Brain: An intelligent debate system developed by Professor Zhang Weinan's team from the School of Computing.

2. Mind-Controlled Browser: MindBrowser developed by Professor Li Haifeng's team from the School of Computing, allowing users to browse the web using only their thoughts.

3. Elephant-Trunk-Inspired Soft Robotic Arm: Developed by Academician Leng Jinsong's team from the School of Astronautics, capable of flexibly gripping fragile objects for safe human-robot interaction.

4. Air-Ground Dual-Use Drone: Developed by Professor Zhang Lixian's team from the School of Astronautics, weighing only 300g, capable of both aerial flight and ground movement.

5. Brain-Computer Interface & Smart Medical Devices: Developed by Professor Liu Honghai's team from the Shenzhen Campus, capable of simultaneously collecting brainwave, muscle signals and other physiological data for neurorehabilitation applications.

6. Leju Robotics: Founded by Researcher Leng Xiaokun from the School of Computing, showcasing robots in food service, guided tours, and Tai Chi performances across multiple commercial scenarios.

7. "Yuanbao" Children's Smart Companion Robot: Developed by PhD student Li Yunzhou from the School of Mechatronics Engineering, designed for children aged 4–12, featuring emotion recognition and intelligent companionship.

Harbin Institute of Technology recently hosted three online sharing sessions for Senior 3 students from Jit Sin Independent High School, Penang. The sessions gave students a closer look at HIT’s academic strengths, faculty offerings, and admissions process.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to three Jit Sin graduates on their successful admission to HIT. Recently, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) conducted an admissions talk for Senior 2 and Senior 3 students at Tsun Jin High School. The session received an enthusiastic response. Many science-stream students showed strong interest in majors such as materials science, aircraft engineering, and artificial intelligence, while others were also curious about fields like Russian studies and architecture.

Currently, HIT offers more than 60 undergraduate programmes, with around 30 delivered in English. In addition to its strong reputation in engineering, the university also offers programmes in business, management, digital economy and design, providing students with a wide range of academic pathways.

日前，哈尔滨工业大学与循人中学高二及高三学生举行了一场招生宣讲会。现场反应热烈，除了理科生对材料专业、飞行器制造工程及人工智能表现出浓厚兴趣外，也有不少同学对学习俄语以及建筑系充满好奇与期待。

Harbin Institute of Technology successfully concludes its second stop in Malacca！

HIT team participated in today’s education fair at SMJK Notre Dame Convent and met many students interested in studying abroad. HIT’s wide range of academic programmes, together with its English-medium instruction, drew strong interest and encouraged many students to stop by and find out more.
