感恩之家非营利老人院创办人 陈贤福先生， 因为始终放不下对长者的牵挂，后来踏上了社会工作的道路。
从学习社会工作，到独自来到陌生的槟城扎根，他一步一步建立起感恩之家。
这一份坚持，至今已经走了二十多年。✨
感恩之家从事着最基层的社会服务。
这里照顾的不只是长者的生活起居，更希望在他们人生的下半场里，给予一份陪伴、一份安心，还有一个能够被称为“家”的地方。🏠
一顿热饭 🍲，
一句关心 ☀️，
一次陪伴 🫂。
这些看似平凡的小事，却成为许多长者每天最真实的温暖。
谢谢感恩之家让 韩江传媒大学学院学生走进这里进行拍摄。 对学生而言，这不仅是一次影像创作，更是一堂关于生命与陪伴的人生课。
镜头记录下来的，不只是画面。 还有长者脸上的笑容、人与人之间的温度，以及“陪伴”真正的意义。🌱
我们总以为时间还有很多。 直到长大后才发现，最珍贵的，往往是愿意坐下来陪一个人好好说话。

Mr. Peter Tan Hiang Hock, the Founder of Persatuan Syukur Penyayang Pulau Pinang, stepped into the path of social work because he could never let go of his concern for the elderly.
From studying social work to building a life in Penang on his own, he slowly established the old folks home step by step. More than twenty years later, that dedication continues today. ✨
It serves as the heart of grassroots of community care. Beyond looking after the daily needs of the elderly, the home hopes to provide companionship, comfort and a place they can truly call home. 🏠

A moment of companionship. 🫂
These everyday moments may seem small, but to many elderly residents, they are the most genuine forms of warmth.
Thank you Persatuan Syukur Penyayang Pulau Pinang for welcoming students from Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) to film and learn here. For our students, this was more than a filming project. It became a lesson about life, humanity, and the meaning of presence.
What the camera captured was not only footage, but also smiles and human connection. 🌱
We often think there will always be more time. But as we grow older, we begin to realise that one of the most precious things is simply sitting down and truly spending time with someone.
May the world offer every elderly person greater patience, gentleness and care. ❤️
